    You are saying if you don't want to do hunts, don't do hunts. You have virtually zero understanding of the problem going on here if that's your answer, and to attack people that are genuinely upset with this model while bringing forth nothing but ignorance to the table and disguising it as constructive is even more insulting.

    Hunts are the only way to go beyond the weekly cap right now and offer rewards far and beyond anything you could possibly spend your time on once the 2 hours it takes to hit the cap through CT has been reached. Hunts themselves are pulling teeth, I'm sorry you think it's insulting but I find your ability not to understand the complex social infrastructure of how it forces a logical player to spend their time doing hunts a hundred fold more insulting.

    SO what is the problem with the Hunts? If you can't load the battles lag free, that is your computers fault not SE. I've yet to find a fight that my computer cant handle. Lag wise.. well the server has its lag points and when many people are together in 1 spot.. yeah that can be a bit annoying.

    I'm just holding out for when they inevitably add the carbontwine/tomestone to the weekly quest. I simply refuse to do hunts. They are some of the most mind-numbingly boring content next to FATEs.

    This. So much this.
    FATEs already turned atma-hunters into braindead zombies before they nerfed it (some even now), and hunts really are none better than FATEs. At least dungeons have some fun and challenge in them, for a short while after being implemented (ok, relevant coils, for even longer, probably). FATEs? There hasn't been any fun or challenge to them since day 0, and they have not changed one bit since day 0 - I don't think new ones have been added either. I do see why endgame raiders can get insulted by this, where they spend hours upon hours trying to beat the current hardest content in game, only to have a giveaway like this, where a fresh 50 in their AF can join in any hunt party/LS and farm hunts til their eyes bleed and get access to the same gear (or same ilvl at any rate, don't care enough about hunts to even look it up) without any challenge - save for with their own hardware to battle lag and visual effects. The giveaway itself is not an issue after a while, for players to catch up, but yeah, the order of it is wrong. Hunts should come very last, not 2nd.


    DEAR FORUM PEOPLE, PLEASE DISABLE THE CHARACTER LIMIT ALREADY.

    I somehow agree with this. Ever since ironwork upgrades made available through allied seals, friend who still doing relic novus complains how he/she have hard time farming seals to buy alexandrites since A got zerged so fast.

    i really just dont like the hunt system how its built in itself. I rather would have enjoyed some tiered pop progression for 8 man partys/24 man alliances then what we have now.

    Example:
    -Obtain a pop item for a specific A-mob via spending 300 Tomestones of Soldiery
    -Obtain another pop item for a different specific A-mob via Disciplin of the Lands by mining, fishing etc. randomly (moderate droprate 15%)
    -Obtain another pop item for a different specific A-mob via Extreme Trials as a random drop (moderate droprate 15%)

    -----> proceed to go pop all 3 A-ranked mobs in different specific locations with your 8 man to 24 man static/FC PT/alliance
    -----> defeat the A-ranked mobs and get from each of them 3 different pop items
    -----> use all 3 pop items to pop a specific S-ranked mob in a specific location

    that way nothing gets rushed, you can plan events via FCs/static and you actually finally see all the mechanics of the mobs. Would have liked such a system much more then what we currently have :/

    If you want to grind it out, grind it out.
    If you don't want to grind it out, then don't do it.
    1 Carboncoat/week from LotA/ST/WoD is enough for me. MUCH better than how it was with sand/oil in ST.
    I'm almost at 3000 AS though, so I will continue to do my daily/weekly hunts with random A/S as I feel like to get a twine. But I choose not to participate in hunt grind.

    Yoshi has said from the start, he wants to cater this to more casual players, as well as the hardcore ones. It's gonna be a bit of a mix bag always, and after a while people outside of raids can catch up.

    It's also a choice. We have dailies and weekly hunts, so take it slow and don't worry about rushing. I DO agree with the earlier post however, it seems a bit odd that we can get all of this from hunt, but not from stuff like ST yet. But again, I'm not as worried at the moment as the expansion will be here in about three to four months.

    Also, to those getting mad about 'the non-raiders got the same gear as us!' No, they don't. ilvl doesn't really mean as much, unless you got the right stats to back 'em, aka BiS from coil and some on the upgraded poe weapons. Sooner or later though, they'll have access to the weapons, but they're still just stuck at poe gear, not BiS gear. No Poe weapons, nor the dread weapons either.

    this helps the Soldiery/poetic heroes that are too fail to beat coil. so that they can gear up and get a sense of accomplishment.
    its nice to gear up off classes though

    so i approve
