I'm sorry but I do not considered this "fixed".

Now it's a funnel!
AWWW now you can't even use it as a tent! This makes me sad.![]()
Tarus get a teacup ride now.
Looks better then it did before so it fixed.
LOL That looks awkward.
i don't understand why they can't just let the female miqotes lay flat. Just straighten out the legs and put their head down and facing one side, then we wouldn't have funnels of any kind! -.-
Given the limitations involved, exactly what kind of a result are people expecting here?
Honestly, I think items like this are more likely to be flagged as not allowing the player to lay prone rather than being fixed any further. Wedding dresses really weren't made to be slept in, especially if they have some sort of pannier or crinoline (frames for form) built into them.
While it looks awkward, that is just sort of how these things work. Equipment worn by players is built with a rigging skeleton, just like the player character models have. That is how they know where to go, how to size themselves properly, and how to move with the character. Essentially they assign rig points to match up with the character rig points.
Now the wedding dress and pretty much any similar items will look fine (for the most part) when the player is standing up and moving about, however in special circumstances they will look strange such as the laying in bed animation that you have shown. Because the characters knees are bent and their feet are up in the air, the dress bottom which is matched to the rig in the characters legs, knees and feet follow the location of them and you get the result shown.
The only ways to avoid this is to either create a one-off state for that particular item and that particular animation which may not even be possible with their animation system, or switch all draping cloth elements in clothing to use cloth physics which would require them to redo a lot of items, it would be an enormous resource hog, and it would have other issues that would look just as weird such as serious clipping issues during movement.
So, while it looks weird, its a video game and there are technical limitations to certain things.
Personally I don't find it to be that big of a deal.
You're not going to get cloth physics on something as large as a dress. Forget about it. That sucker would ricochet and clip so bad you'd think your graphics card was overheating.
This is the lesser of two evils.
