Who said you can't speculate?you kill me !!!! how come you can make "puer speculation" and i can not!!!! its to funny!!!!
I am using my brain you are not. (1) FF11 the crafts were restricted!!!! YOU COULD NOT RANK PASS 50 on more then one class.
(2) I am sure they will go that route and thats what this thread is about. If they do who cares but thats what thistread is about.
(1) This is not 11
(2) I think you are wrong.
Not sure if serious.... ^^
erm seriously i have to explain diference in numbers between producers and customers?
And in all honesty, I will deal with it. If you notice, I have not done any raging in any of my posts. I just feel it is important to offer a different view point and express how I feel.I understand what you mean. I started this game planning to be Alchemist/Miner.... But since the change of leadership the original thought of having Dol/Doh as classes unto themselves might have actually failed. I think yoshi might end up putting us on the support role as in every other game out there.
If DoH is limited, I will still play and I will still have fun but if there is ever a time to let the devs know how I feel, it would be now.
it wont be btw, the craft system in FFXIV required many craft to be able to make 1 piece of armor/wep (mostly the heavy and melee type), with the system as it is now 1 player should and will be able to craft the item himself w/o help from other player and therefor the mats price is low-medium so the item price will be mats + fee for craft (and the crafter only earn money from final craft), now if it is 1 player/craft:
example: sword require 5 mats to be able to craft
crafter 1: sell the mats + fee craft
crafter 2: sell the mats + fee craft
crafter 3: sell the mats + fee craft
crafter 4: sell the mats + fee craft
crafter 5: buy all the mats above + fee craft
conclusion: higher price and eventually become unstable because now player will have to control price of every mats and not 1 final item anymore
i think so also but if we tell them this is not what we want loud enough mab they will listen? they have before. And hey do not get me wrong if a dev comes in and says "this is the plan we need to do this for the betterment (is that a word) of the game then i will dead the tread and go on. But do not keep me in the dark and have me waste my time ranking up crafts i would never have touched.I understand what you mean. I started this game planning to be Alchemist/Miner.... But since the change of leadership the original thought of having Dol/Doh as classes unto themselves might have actually failed. I think yoshi might end up putting us on the support role as in every other game out there.
I mean in all my MMO life i NEVER touched a craft before now since i can do lots in this game i actually started craft and having fun. You no what would kill my fun? If i can not get crafting to a max level one day.
yes. lets get this done now.And in all honesty, I will deal with it. If you notice, I have not done any raging in any of my posts. I just feel it is important to offer a different view point and express how I feel.

Yep, it's possible to have a debate and still be civil. And in all honesty, I will deal with it. If you notice, I have not done any raging in any of my posts. I just feel it is important to offer a different view point and express how I feel.
If DoH is limited, I will still play and I will still have fun but if there is every time to let the devs know how I feel, it would be now.
But you know how the internet is, caps and "I am using my brain and you are not" statements from children throwing their temper tantrums.
PS. I was dying to play an important role in the story as a Miner. /cry
I will not speculate on how restricting crafting and gathering classes will affect the economy. I will say this however. If the DoH and DoL classes get restrictions on leveling and/or specialization then DoW and DoM should receive the same restrictions.
