Can we please get a definitive answer to Eorzea Libra VITA,as well as an explanation?

Yoshi-P Still gave us an explanation for the housing, which made sense.

I'm a little surprised they don't have it on Vita, I would have expected it to be easier to develop, if anything. I use Windows & BlackBerry for mobile devices, so I'm out of luck either way D:

Although, I'm debating between getting an NVIDIA Shield, or a PS Vita. That I suppose, is a discussion for a different thread.

This is something I can understand. You can't always forecast the future accurately, estimations can be off, and he actually explained why that happened, and it was a perfectly valid reason.

But there's no reason for not having already released Eorzea Libra VITA, since it was promised pre-launch, and I already bought a VITA. At least it's not acceptable to ignore us on this issue.
Definitive answer and explanation please Square-Enix.

Yeah, almost 10 Million people actually. Especially FINAL FANTASY fans.
It's so awesome Remote Playing FINAL FANTASY XIV from 200 Km away, or at home when others are using the TV, and then being able to hop on FINAL FANTASY I-X, or Dissidia, or Tactics, on just 4 presses of a button.

Doesn't really sound like much of a promise to me. If anything it just means that he wants to release a VITA app sometimes in the future like many other things on his want list that he eventually forget about or get pushed back. I'll even chime in my personal list of promised yet seemingly forgotten ideas for you:

1v1 friendly PVP duel in housing instance - stated by Yoshi in an interview to be added along housing. Never happened/never mentioned again/probably pushed back indefinitely.
Housing "tower" and "park" that add bonus FC housing buff - again stated by Yoshi once but never mentioned again. Possibly scrapped idea that they are revamping to aetherial wheel.
Free Company Alliance - stated to be released on 2.2 but never happened and got pushed back to maybe expansion.

Lastly, the biggest offender is the Roaming Primal system that allow an FC who defeated a roaming primal to gain a one time powerful summon to that primal before releasing them out to the wild again. This system was stated in an interview after 1.2x shut down and during ARR Alpha/Beta. Obviously with the launch hype, it was forgotten about for a long time by many people, but then got mentioned offhandedly in a live letter with barely any concrete development news for nearly 2 years. On a side note, if you are following the main story, you can see that the warrior of light and scions are basically trying to find a way to temporarily capture a primal's essence which might be the foundation for this system.

Also, I waited a whole year for Blizzard to add an Android version of Hearthstone after the iOS version had been out for over half a year just to learn that my tablet isn't even compatible with that game. Shit sucks.

Agree with everything you say, but this is about Eorzea Libra VITA. Yoshi-P definitely made a promise. He specifically said that Eorzea Libra will come to VITA and FINAL FANTASY XIV will come to PS4 on the PS4 launch event. He commited in front of all PlayStation FINAL FANTASY fans.

It didn't happen, and no word back as for why.

The DX11 version for the PC was to be released at the same time as the PS4 version... Now we may get it before 3.0, over a year after the PS4 version (which, I believe, was delayed too). I'm not holding my breath.

The way I view it is - if it turns up, rejoice. If not, don't be surprised.
