    I enjoy healing in PvP and it was pretty much all I was doing from rank 1-39, less so after we lost CS but stacking WHM and Holy spam was too much I guess. Either way I'm concerned about how easily people will be able to 'annihilate' you, I've seen 2 Ninjas pretty much 'melting' healers, now if they have a damage buff and a 'personal LB' I can see them one-shotting a healer, 1 NIN will probably be enough as well. I can't see that being fun for anyone... but I guess we'll see how it will really play out on Tuesday.

    What I'm disappointed at is that there will be buffs for the winning team, someone who's doing great doesn't need more buffs, the opposite team does. I've played PvP in TERA; 'steamrolling' the enemy team is not fun and neither is it to be on the losing side, I've been on both. Gladly we have the i80 synch-down but why buffing the winners? .-.

    > Engage a fight > get LBed by a melee > ress and come back > get LBed by another melee > repeat until they run out of melee LB l0l that's how fun it will be. The only good part is that now everyone can use LBs, even to assist as tank/healer without saving it for big node, big boss or whatever they put to get points as pve.

    Okay, so there is concern about healers not getting any temporary buffs for bonus streaks. But there may be a reason for that. Any worthwhile bonus effects on healers could be too game breaking. Healing potency buffs? It would be nearly impossible to kill anything but the healers 1st if their heals are strengthened to take something from low HP to full. That would also only encourage healers to be targeted/locked-down even more. Damage mitigation buffs? That could make healers too hard to kill, especially if attackers have no bonuses; seen enough of that in healer-stacked flags in Secure FL.

    My point being, I find it incredibly difficult (maybe because I'm not caring to brainstorm it enough) to think of relevent bonuses to give healers without making them incredibly broken or near impossible to kill. This

    **can't find the edit option on the mobile version so continuing from my last post:**

    -This FL mode may in fact end up not being healer-friendly; it is a mode focused on killing targets. Maybe stacked DPS parties will be the norm. But there's also the possibility that the few teams with a healer or 2 could end up beating out teams with no healers because they lose their kill streak bonuses too fast. Let's see.

    That is up to each person and you are absolutely no one to decide what's important for people and what is not. I've done the fishing quest Feast of Famine that required fishing 6 ultra rare fish that gave me a title and some money. We could argue how the real point of this game is to obtain gear and do endgame raid not fishing. Please think before typing thank you.

    Fishing is its own semi-independent activity just like PvP, and your analogy is apples to oranges with the situation. If you wanted an actually applicable fishing analogy it would be someone fishing at a fishing hole while they have a fishing leve or quest active. The have a task at hand and an achievement that they can advance while working on that task.

    From my reading of things, you also don't need to make the kills in Frontlines(Slaughter), Frontlines(Secure) kills and kills in future Frontline modes should also add to the total.

    My point is that getting the achievements will happen, DpS may or may not get them faster but by focusing on winning the match you are currently in you will slowly but surely advance the counters.

    There are still 46 hours until the patch goes live and we start getting real info, wait until then to start complaining.

    My biggest concern is that Bard having an individual healer LB is potentially unbalanced. Bard stacking could be extremely effective depending on how quickly that gauge fills up.

    That and the monster spawns potentially not being enough to split groups up, really don't want to see groups turtling as 24 people move around in a group...

    Healers who aren't getting kills and contributing a fair amount of damage are bad healers. Same for tanks. Will DPS get those achievements faster? Sure. I don't see that as an issue though. Really not a whole lot different than ending up in A or C a lot; you're not going to get drone/node kills nearly as fast as people who luck into B a lot.

You're better off sleeping and stoning dudes to assist your damage dealers if you happen to find yourself in a situation where you're not scrambling to keep yourself and your teammates alive. The only reliable way to kill someone is to blow them off the side at mid, and I'm pretty positive those don't go to your kills at the end.

    And from the information we've been provided about the new game mode, it looks a lot less appealing to heal than secure mode. And it's not like healing in current secure mode looked like it was tons of fun most of the time...

    The Cleric Stance nerf only nerfed the numbers, it didn't make it impossible for a healer to contribute damage/kills. Any healer walking out of Frontlines with 0 damage dealt is an utter failure, the moment any 8v8 situation turns in your favour it is very easy to start dealing damage and even picking off a few retreating damage dealers.

    I'm well aware healers aren't dealing massive damage and getting kills in the double figures, but pretending healers can never get kills is absurd. Then there's the fact that this whole "issue" hinges on whether kills are counted as a group or not. If it's anything like the Drone/Node achievements people are crying over nothing.

    Fun is subjective. People don't enjoy the heat being a healer brings? Big shock they'll continue not liking it then... Did anyone expect a new game mode of PvP to actually change things that much? Plenty of people enjoy being the linchpin of any PvP match though, and I imagine they'll continue to enjoy that.
