I actually thought the Machinist (when it was known as Musketeer) was going to be a gun blade tank job for the expansion as they needed a tank, Yoshi said musketeer would be "something unexpected" and Gaius looks like a nice tanky style person with his big armor and gunblade. Personally i'm much happier with DRK being the tank and Machinist being the gun job. I definitely wouldn't expect to see a gunblade job coming anytime soon since the Expansion jobs have been announced (unless there's more)

Possibly, but more than anything it'll be in some future patch sometime after Heavensward releases lol. Lets just hope it does come true since FF11 wasn't able to deliver, so maybe FF14 will this time around.
