It reminds me much like most fps/racing/multiplayer online games where once an instance is done everyone that participated is lobbied and then they "vote" on the next instance eg. race/map etc..
Could something similar be implemented where once completing a dungeon when clicking on the exit you get a pop up asking if you wish to go to "lobby" where it would then keep your party intact and move you to an interserver lobby where you have a short time limit maybe 1 minute or so to discuss and re-run a dungeon or a different one. The time limit would have to be short enough to stop people from idling in a place that could potentially use up quite a bit of server bandwidth. It could be done simply by having the leader re-queue the dungeon that everyone wants just as if you was in a party finder group and if anyone drops when the dungeon is queued it is just entered into the duty finder as normal.
One more thing I can think of is would it be appropriate to allow people to change jobs, people could abuse it by changing to another job to grief other people, but the flexibility of people being able to swap would also allow someone to switch to tank if their tank dropped and wanted to still continue re-running the dungeon with the other 2 people. Perhaps only allow job changing if it is an incomplete party, as currently the duty finder doesn't accept unorthodox party setups.

I would love an option like this. I've been seeing a lot of threads like this lately but the reality is until SE manages their server infrastructure better all it would do is cause stress and dc ppl. However if they do implement something like this I would love a filter option like matchmaking with people who have cleared similar content. That way you are almost guaranteed a good df party and everyone will know what they are doing. This will add another option to those of us who have cleared content like t9 but due to low server population can't find a group in pf.
I really like this idea. Specially for DPS in DF, because them dont need to re-queue after a dungeon (very usefu for farming XP - yes, dungeon XP is actually relevant)
I really missed this while I was farming my first nexus. I don't think it would be hard to implement this but SE server structure and software is bit weird..![]()
i have wanted this button so may times.
"Try not. Do or do not. There is no try."
Yah, this would be a great feature. It would be really useful when farming Primals or certain Raids:
* When you run across a great Party in Duty Finder (everyone clicks, having a good time), and people didn't get their drops (e.g., Primal Farming, or, say, Second Coil of Bahamut (certain Turn)), a "Party Again?" feature would be great.
But the one downside would be making other players in queue have to wait longer: I could see this party (repeating certain fights over and over together) mean that other players who were waiting for, say, a Tank or Healer to free up, now have to wait even longer.
It's tough, because there are merits to both sides of this discussion.
I do agree that there's a good and a bad side to this. However, it's not like Dungeons are the only means of getting EXP. You can que up Duty Finder and do leves/Fates/Hunting Log/Guildleves (first time through) etc.Yah, this would be a great feature. It would be really useful when farming Primals or certain Raids:
