I'm just worried they'll do something stupid like DoT potency

I'd like more pet options. But thats just me.
I would prefer more sustain to more damage. I'm not of the mind that Summoner should be able to put up numbers as high as Black Mage since 2/3 of Summoner's damage is not dependent on player input. Summoners can deal with mechanics while still dealing damage where Black Mage is depended on procs and scathe to be able to scoot and shoot.
I'd like to see Bio and Miasma's duration be increased to 24 and 27 respectively to better link up with Bio 2
Contagion taken of Garuda (and emerald carbuncle I guess) and made into a off-cooldown skill so Ifrit and Titan can be used without the extra dot upkeep
Fester to give a Free Energy drain on a percent chance on crit
Give Smn their own gear mostly free of spell speed and increase potency on all Smn attacks. THis would place Smn back to the top tier of DPSs. Where they belong. ps: some small pie on smn gear would help those playing FCOB anything other then Spell speed.

Actually it is easy to do Summoner spells and pet actions at the same time because players can order the pet to do a attack while casting a spell.
