Help Gearing up 50 PLD for endgame

I am looking for some help on where to start with 50 pld gear, Cobalt Winglet sword, I have all AF, Darklight Kite Shield, which i received as a drop, Amber choker, heliodor earring, amber bracelet, amber ring, heliodor ring. i have been doing thre daily roulette low level and main scenario

Where should I begin?

I have unlocked AK, haven't run it, and unlocked tam-tara, but gear to low level. also have ifrit unlocked, but gear to low

I looked over some forums but they all talk about the old allagan tombstones of mythology and philosophy

Begin, by doing your Relic, atleast to the item level 80 version (you need those fights for Trial Roulette anyhow) Then work on unlocking every one of your dungeons so you have access to the "roulette" options, which give bonuses. Hunts are a good way to get ahead as well, if you can find an active LS to participate in.

But unlock as much of your roulettes as possible for max bonuses. I'd get you an Unidentified Allegan Tomb and get a Burtgang with your solidery. If you have the gil, buy some I90 Vit/Str Accessories... later on you can mod them out into something impressive.

Use Poetics for your left side, if you don't buy accessories, then soldiery your right side.

If you can handle the primal clears, Shiva weapons are pretty good options and can get you into Final Coil, once you've cleared turn 5 and turn 9.

open syrcus tower troll the place in low level gear to get drops whilst earning tomes to buy poetics gear and weathered gear.

get lucky on drops in st bag some sands and oils to upgrade weathered gear to 110, buy the burtgang aswell but id say troll with i50-55 weapon until you upgrade some gear,

if you are below cap to get into st run hala hm or bray hm for tomes to buy weathered gear, will be alitttle slower due to not getting sands but youll earn lots of soldiery to buy gear.

however if you are going to dungeon run for soldiery tomes then you should buy the burtgang first or if need be run ifrit hm until you get a weapon drop, you can ot the fight perfectly well at its ilvl requirement and its not a hard fight at all. youll earn sol tomes in it too but very few in comparison.

it will take you a few runs in dungeons to earn gear but its worth the time as you can literally get to i100 from doing it in a day or two at most.

once you around i80-85 go into hullbreaker or tam tara hm for easy tomes and i80 gear drops,

basically aim to get all weathered gear from aurianna in mor dhona and then run st get sands of time and oils of time to upgrade it which is done in north shroud. all the time buying poetics gear each week from those poetic tomes you've been earning. these are capped weekly so cant grind for that gear im afraid.


another thing you might want to do is use the party finder to form a group who are in the same position as you, main reason is in duty finder people can be nasty when they see low geared people especially the tank, because they tend to forget that everyone didn't start the game on day one.

You cant do ST in AF lol
But in first place focus CT for i80 gear but try to get FC/premade for that as DF is a troll there. Run firsttime WP, AK, Haukke Hm, bray hm,... for bonus sol and poe after you completed those your ilvl should be with sol gear about i70 so you can start ST also relic is a MUST as you unlock some extra content, earn additional tomes.
Also do some roulettes (again tomes) and do storyline with mog that might drop sword. Also a good point is to do some ifi/garuda hm for the weps.

In general there are millions of things you should do. also after first titan hm run coils etc so you get gear/tomes and with a t5 kill you unlock scob for better i110 gear.
For most firsttime completions I recommend to go with friends/FC so you understand mechanics and dont need to speedrun for randoms, but well most important either way: Don't force yourself do everything only to the grade you still can enjoy
