Gulool Ja Ja as the final boss of Wanderer's Palace is cool

I never got to fight him in Mamook, but can't wait to try it in Wanderer's Palace HM. Wonder if they'll eventually add Medusa and Gurfurlur in too at some point.

Yes, Gulool Ja Ja is pretty much the "King" of the Mamool Ja. Mamook is the homeland of the Mamool Ja in FFXI. Medusa and Gurfulur are the Beastmen leaders of the Lamia and Trolls respectively.

Medusa's a slight possibility if Sastasha HM is any indication (No Lamiae there but their cousins, the Merrows, are a sign). Gurfurlur, not so much unless Trolls are introduced in a surprise move by SE (maybe as slaves to the Kobolds?).

Gulool Ja Ja was one of the Beast tribe leaders in XI who was fought in the Besieged event where the three Beastmen tribes of the Aht Urghan Expansion (Mamool Ja, Undead Swarm, Troll Mercenaries) would invade the main hub city and have to be repelled by the players lest NPCs would be kidnapped and certain benefits normally given to the players would be lost. In addition to that he appeared as a Notorious Monster in the overworld in the Mamool Ja beastman stronghold.

He simply equipped a new gear set. The only difference is he has access to the Emperor's New Hat, Shirt, Gloves, Pants, and Shoes...while all we've got are accessories T_T
