I dont like the summoner one at all...looks like something a black magr would wear.
Why are the jobs still sharing gear? And genders....

These look cool. I like the Dragoon, Monk/Nin and Tank sets.
Concept art looked better, but these are ok I guess.
Meh, BRD set isn't super flamboyant this time around (good thing imo), instead it is very plain (bad thing imo). I'm just hoping the stats on the legs and more desirable than the garbage Poetics legs. I'll prob stick with my pentameld Kirimu coat unless the WoD BRD chest is Crit/Det.
That MNK set looks sick though!
Monk and Tank set looks awesome. Everything else isn't as great.
EDIT: Ninja looked different at first glance from that awful angle.

Why is it that MNK/NIN and Caster/Healer are -still- sharing gear models this far into the game? Is it really so hard to design new sets instead of recolors for endgame tier loot? I can 100% understand when 4-man dungeons/tome/pre-50 gear is model shared because there's nothing that eventful about it, but Coil/Other "Raid" gear should be unique. They devoted the time to make unique models per JOB for PvP but can't even be asked to devote a different model to Caster/Healer? Come on.

Not sure if this question was meant to be rhetorical or not, but it's so that you're actually rolling against some one for the most part. This way, there's a little more competition and people can't just walk in and get ridiculously lucky with nothing but (for example) SMN only gear dropping. The SMN makes out like a bandit and the rest of the party gets absolutely nothing. Like I said, not a perfect system but this helps to prevent that somewhat. I don't think it's laziness. I think they really thought this through.
Plus, having that many pieces dropping from one raid seems a bit excessive, especially when you double it by asking for gender specific options. I like the fact that I can gear up both BLM and SMN at the same time without my armory chest weeping in the process.
Not a fan of all the open toe boots :/
