    Awesome Trial Idea

    Updated With Lore
    Since people want lore so bad, here it is......Hildebrand stole Cloud's favorite materia, so cloud enlists sephiroths help to get it back. Hildebrand calls upon you to save him.

    Bored, was thinking about this for some time. Here goes. Lemme know what you think, feel free to leave comments/improvements/suggestions. This is all for fun.

    Boss Fight - Cloud & Sephiroth

    Persistant Core Mechanics -

    Both bosses must die at the same time, else wipe (Cloud casts Omnislash V5, sephiroth casts Supernova)

    Tank swap. The tanks must swap at 3 tanks of the respective debuff.

    Dps Swap. Dps must swap at 20 stacks of the respective debuff.

    Cloud Abilities

    Braver - Hits the main tank for moderate damage. Applies a stacking debuff that makes the tank take more damage from Cloud.

    Cross-Slash - Cross slashes a random raid member besides the tank, putting a 30 second paralyze on them.

    Meteor Rain - Drops meteor showers across the map in a moderately large circle.

    Climbhazard - Charges the raid member that was most recently targeted by One Winged Angel.

    Finishing Touch - Summons a huge Tornado causing raid wide damage, unavoidable.

    Omnislash - Happens during phase transition

    Omnislash V5 - enrage ability

    Sephiroth Abilities

    Heaven's Light - Applies a stacking debuff to the main tank and deals moderate damage. The more stacks, the more damage the tank takes from sephiroth.

    Hell's Gate Targets a recently paralyzed player and lands on them, killing them instantly.

    Black Materia - Drops a meteor on the field, dealing unavoidable raid wide damage

    One Winged Angel - Drops a random raid member to 1 HP and stuns them for 3 seconds.

    Quake 3 + All - Casts Quake on entire raid, avoidable, applies heavy if hit.

    Octoslash - transition ability

    Supernova - enrage ability


    Full Strat -

    Phase one starts at 100% and lasts till 80%. Each tank grabs a boss and you split the raid in the middle. One tank, one healer, 2 dps on cloud, and same for sephiroth. Throughout the entire fight, Cloud will cast Braver on the main tank, dealing moderate damage and applying a debuff. Sephiroth will be casting Heaven's light on his main tank, and applying a similar debuff. Tanks should swap at 3 stacks.

    Also throughout the entire fight, any dps that attacks Sephiroth will build up a stacking debuff that doesn't do anything until 20 stacks. Once 20 stacks is reached, they can no longer attack sephiroth, and there must be a DPS switch. Each time someone with the stacks against sephiroth attacks cloud, they lose a stack. Once at zero stacks, they must switch again. This switch happens the entire fight. The tank is not affected by this.

    Phase Two starts at 80%, and lasts until 60%. In this phase, Cloud will start using Cross Slash. This will target a random raid member and apply a 30 second paralysis to them. They must be esuna'd immediatly, else if they get stopped by paralysis, Sephiroth will One hit kill them with Hell's Gate. Once they get esuna'd, they must avoid Hell's Gate at all costs. Also during this phase, raid wide AOE damage will begin. Cloud and Sephiroth will cast Finishing Touch and Black Materia in succession and these must be healed through.

    Once one of the bosses hit 60%, they will enter their transition phase. During this phase, they will cast Omnislash and Octoslash. These attacks hit one person at a time, at random, and must be healed through in order to survive.

    Phase 3 will begin after the transition. Everything from Phase 1 and 2 still applies, except now Sephiroth will cast Quake 3 which is attached to his All materia. You must avoid quake at all costs by running up on the elevated platforms. Getting hit by Quake will put you into heavy status and you will not be able to avoid the upcoming meteor showers. Once quake ends, cloud will jump up and cast meteor shower. A circle will spawn under each player and must be avoided. If you are afflicted by heavy, you will get hit 100% chance. Phase 3 ends at 20%

    Phase 4 lasts from 20% to 0%. In this final phase, they will lose the ability to cast quake and meteor shower, and instead cast One winged Angel and Climbhazard. One winged angel will bring 1 raid member down to 1 HP and stun him for 3 seconds. They must be healed up really really quickly before the stun expires and they get climbhazarded to the face.

    Once one boss dies, the other boss will start casting their enrage ability, either Omnislash V5 or Supernova. If any of these abilities goes off its a wipe. Also remember, if Sephiroth is the last boss up and all your DPS has 20 stacks, its a wipe, so be very careful.

    To be honest, if Sephiroth and Cloud were introduced into the game, I think I'd stop playing for a few months. The fight you've presented seems very... can't explain it. Maybe it's my annoyance with FF7.

    yeah some people arent fans of FFVII which is fine. This will never happen in this game. It all just kinda came to me at once so i decided to put it on paper. It was fun to write it out.

    maybe, i think it would make a pretty cool raid boss fight tho. I've fought them in KH, and still it was seperate, they dont fight u together.

    Although it sounds like a cool fight Cloud and Sepheroth working together just doesn't work for me. But a Cloud or Sepheroth battle could be fun in the Gold Saucer.

    Even the Lightning crossover events had some lore behind it, so I would think Cloud and Sephiroth working together would have a BIG reason behind other than "lol why not"

    As much as I love FF7 (and I do, a lot)... Meh, I don't like this idea much. Maybe it's because Cloud and Sephiroth are fighting together. Maybe because it would require a stretch of ff14 and ff7's lores. Either way, it just makes me cringe :/
