But I will say this... If this does happen, it won't keep me from having max capability in every craft. I will simply have seven alts.
DoW/DoM's are going to have masteries. It comes in the form of jobs. We are more capable of specific roles as opposed to having a little bit of everything. This is mastery. As for you having 7 alts, you are more than entitled to that.

The only way your analogy would be accurate is if you unlocked WHM you couldn't unlock any other job.

Gah this game sucks doesn't it?

wow you are truely not getting the point.... its crazy.

CON................ and sword.................. how does that even....

since its my thread i wont just ignore you but i will give you a true example unlike yours..

its actually like saying CON can not get AM tier 2. or CON can not get merits. to MASTER jobs in FF11 u need merits that only that job can use. try going into endgame without a merited BLM and see how "limited" you are in ff11.

    get this PLEASE GET THIS.

if you are mastering CON WHY DOES HE NEED A SWORD???????

If there are things that other BSM can do and i am not allowed even tho im rank 50 then thats limiting it... dude please get this....

    thanks for that.

Also i played ff11 6 years most crafters lost money. i no a lot of people ONLY made money with cursed gear and scorpions harness etc. Things that was hard to get.
what point did I prove? You basically said that you can only make money has a high level crafter. At r16 Alc, I was pulling in 300-400k a day. At r18 GLD, I can bring in an easy 1mil a day. Wvr doesn't make as much now since Dark Matter was introduced, but just by repairing crap, I can still make a good 200-300k.

In FFXI...I did nothing but make money...and I sold Nebimonites, Shihei and Insect Balls...of course, I either gathered my materials, bought them from a cheap NPC or bought them cheap from LS mates...but if you buy over priced items to make an underpriced item without first doing the math to see if you will make a profit, that's your own fault, not the game's.

I was thinking of it more like all of the subskills we have acquired for our current classes will become obsolete for the jobs. It's kind of like having defender, foresight, featherfoot, diversion on a glad now. All those things are nice and you had to lvl classes for them, but when pld comes out they will not be used on it. Crafting has to be handled differently in terms of locking mastery to 1 or 2 classes. Crafting affects the economy while DoW's doesn't have much of an effect besides acting as buyers. In fact, if you locked DoW/DoM to one then Crafters would suffer as a result. Less demand if you can only play one type of DoW/DoM

This constant comparison of DoH to DoW/M in the context of this discussion is absolutely retarded. When DoW/M can control or seriously affect the economy of the game simply by playing their classes normally, *then* you can compare them. The only classes that should face similar effect, and I agree with TheVedis about mastery, are DoL because they also affect the economy directly by playing their classes normally.

WOOOOOSH right over your head. My post about the CON was in regards to you QQing about limits. If you can't do something that another BSM can, too bad. You made the decision and now you have to live with it. Guess what, you can do something that he can't. WOOHOO! It isn't limiting. It is called decision making. Life is all about decisions. MMOs should be as well. Hey guess what, in Infamous, if you go evil, you don't get the energy regen from your lightning bolt...gah...so limiting...

not to burst your bubble or anything as you have made some good points earlier, but DoW and DoM CAN affect the economy directly...last time I checked, Uraeus skin and Dodore wings weren't crafted items >.>

Where did i say that? if you would read you would see that ClashBlades says you only made money for HQ items. i was just saying thats how it was in FF11 also with only 1 class you can rank up. I know there were people who made money but the real big money was high level crafting i mean are you really gonna debate that? FF11 mostly everyone was broke and most got money from HNMS not crafting
