Sorry the screenshots weren't up before you got back to the office, I was caught in a technical difficulty nightmare trying to make the video which turned into a week long nightmare, lol.
We had a lot of fun, lots of dancing moogles and people dressed as moogles, and of course the Choir Moogle with his band of gondola loving musician moogles. The best part was our oldest 2 kids being able to participate, it was really great to have them there.

Ferne is short for Fernehalwes who is Michael-Christopher Koji Fox, he is the lead of the English localization team, and I'm not sure his position on the lore division but he's there too. Basically he has a major influence on any text you see (supposing you use the English client).

In ARR we've used both 'machine' and 'machina,' the former in a more general sense, the latter to refer almost solely to Garlean technology. As the former is more widely seen throughout Eorzea, we're probably going to go with the soft 'sh' sound for machinist. I'd like to go into a little more depth, but the evil eye Oda-san is giving me right now has me frightened for my life, so you'll have to wait for further details.

The Moogle Manderville was indeed fabulous. A great time was had by all as illustrated by the frequent need to block out the chat log, lol. The sound quality still annoys me but it was a matter of just cutting my loses and make the best I could with it.
Ferne was unable to attend due to being "far FAR away from keyboard" but he was with us in spirit. The link to the original post where we invited him is below. Had a blast and just happy he responded at all
