I have a feeling that the Interceptor Node that appears during Frontlines may be a part of Omega. It kinda reminds me of the part that sticks out from its back.

With FF10 being the exception. Ultimate Weapon was a spawn of the Omega Weapon in FF10 (both being extreemly powerful Unsent aka Feinds/Monsters)
But it battle entity is registered as Omega Weapon. If you're talking about FFX, and speak about Omega, you're talking about that Yu Yevon monk. If you're talking about FFX, and topic relating Omega Weapon, you're talking about what became of him since he was never sent or something like that.
Yes, thank you. Omega was an Unsent Monk who died on an island after exile. The fiend he turned into was "The Omega WEAPON" as in the Weapon of the Monk Omega. But it battle entity is registered as Omega Weapon. Then it wasn't this Omega :
The post you quoted said that was never was Spider Omega and Omega weapon in the same game.
Spider omega appear in :V XI XII and XIII-2 while Omega Weapon appear in : VI VII ( DoC ) VIII and X.
In final fantasy 10 Machines were against the religion of Yevon which controled Spira. There were verry few machines in that world at all and the few that were are controled by a small rebellion that the Al'bed race holds in oposition to Yevon. So no, there was no 40 foot tall giant spider bot in Spira. How ever, did you ever see a giant dragon-behemoth on steroids in the games like FF8 where magic was rare, it's natural users even rarer, and technology had to be used as a work around? no, no you didn't. I'm not a dev or any thing but to me they seem to serve the same function. Omega and Ultima do ocationally apear side by side in a game but what never apears is "Omega" and "The Omega Weaopn" co-existing in the same game.
