Aren't a lot of people asking for flashier spell effects?
I'd rather be hitting over sized mobs than regular sized squirrels that just look like they're out looking for nuts.
I love the huge mobboes now. It was a welcome change that I never knew I wanted.
Some kind of collision on them would be nice however, or if targeting automatically moved around on the bigger guys, so your not always locked into the center of something you can't really see anymore.
all im hearing is "waaaaaaaaaaaaaa, waaaaa " seriously, be constructive.
I like them big....Small is boring
"That's what she said"
KK the dreamtoads... i wish i could use my needles on them, cuz i cant see sh!t behind them...
Dreamtoads my bottom... more like Freaking huge nightmare monster toads.
Shrink them please, it looks really stupid when they have their head inside a tree, with their butt sticking out.
I used to be Noomy...then i took shiva's Hail Storm to my knee...
When I saw the mobs had grown in size, I was devistated. It takes away the realism of the game. Honestly when i heard that the mob size was going to change, i thought "the squirels were too big, SE is going to make them smaller".
Aparently I was wrong.
SE thinks we are all 102 years old and cant see the things in front of our face, so they need to make everything bigger so we know what we are attacking.
Then finally 1 week into the change, I saw the Cactuars, they are not the 1 foot tall green cacti anymore.
The classic Final Fantasy is been shred from this game.
Granted I know things can and probably will get better, but when i log on, I dont feel like im playing Final Fantasy.
And thats whats sad.
I always loved how SE had its way of making realistic fantasy into an enjoyable experience. But when you start taking away the realism of animal size, and player collision, you start to take it away, and it turns into a cartoon coloring book full of nonscence, yet enjoyable for the simple minded, it lacks depth for the intelligent designer who likes to get lost in another world.
big monsters = epic fights.
No, thanks, I'll keep em as they are now.

I see a lot of people saying "the new mob sizes makes them feel more threatening" except why should a puk feel threatening when they don't aggro? Marmots are practically the size of ant eaters and that should not be...
Others are saying that the larger mobs go better with the "Final Fantasy Theme". Really? Have you seen cactuars?
I stopped playing probably until the next update because I am pissed. Mob sizes did NOT need to be changed. You know what DID need to be changed and wouldn't even be a huge update? Making door sound effects be tied into the game volume controls, so when your game volume is down you don't have a JARRINGLY LOUD DOOR OPENING SOUND blast your speakers when you are running the N. Mines or around town.
You know what else could have used a fix? Making it so you can type while crafting/repairing and not have your chat log reset when you complete a synth.
These things actually affect a player regularly. Mob sizes should NOT have ever even crossed the dev teams minds.

I like big mobs. I see no problem whith that. It make gameplay more fun.
I don't hate people, I just feel better when they aren't around C.Bukowski (Hank)
I guess you've never played ff6 ff8 ffx-2 ff13 or a few others because they had giant sized Cactuar.
Also ff12s Cactuar didn't even look like Cactuar why aren't we complaining about that to.
