no advantage if they gave everyone the right to set housing settings like, "allow members of friend list to tune to mini aetheryte," or "have a co-signer?" i would be careful on that last one though lol..

Just like Noxifer said, there's a craftable armoire that goes into the house, which links you to the same exact armoire that is in the Inn room. 4 star carpenter craft.

Yes this would certainly make the reasons for bonding a lot more interesting than simply a dress and a mount. They can't even interact with FC chest, summoner bells and more.Maybe I'm complaining about something that isn't much of an issue in the grand scheme of things but why is it that my personal house isn't treated as my wife's house as well since we're married in game (And out of game. I double dealed ladies and gentlemen.) It just kind of sucks that we aren't able to decorate the area together and interact with everything.
Are there any plans to change this in the future?
This is something my wife and I have been waiting for since personal housing began. There should be check boxes for permissions/restrictions such as Friends, FC members, and to even enter an individual's name. This is done in many other MMOs, it really shouldn't be that hard to do.
As long as you don't have to share it. Because just like in real life, I need my own space.![]()
I would think THIS thread is the biggest hold up to implementing something like that...

Yoshi said they're looking into it at one of the fan fests.

Meh. It should work the same as FCs. Once you donate/put down an item in a FC house there's a chance you'll never get it back. It's up to the FC leader(the owner) if they give it back to you. So if you're eternally bond to someone but not the original owner of the house(the character who bought it), it's your risk to put something in it. Might not be fair but the system is already in the game.
When I proposed this idea before, someone once said "well what if you put your gil together to buy the house?" Once again, it'll be your risk to take. If you're not the one who gets to purchase it you might lose it. Simple as that. You can take the same risk in a FC already by donating gil to purchase a house.
