thank you. its a dum idea no point or purpose in this game unless they completely take out repairs. even if so i want to level all my crafts if i want to so SE why don't u let me???Limited crafts to max level is unnecessary and was a big let down in ffxi. There is no reason why i shouldn't be able to level whatever i want on 1 char.is one of the strong points of this game in the first place.I hate alts.
This only gives people a reason to pay for/create mules.
Well played.

wow great point i know lots of people in ff11 who had mules to level different crafts and now i know why SE wants to do this and thats because they want people to buy more mules.....Believe it or not, you can still have focus without limiting the highest level one can achieve in support classes. The level you achieve, or number of classes you have shouldn't be the means of doing so, anyways. And if someone can work around this by simply purchasing more characters, how has it worked to help "focus" the game?
As for being able to do everything at 50, that's a rather short sighted statement. The level cap will increase later on, and there certainly will be plenty added for those higher levels. There are, and I am sure, will be new recipes that require multiple Classes, and unless they work to prevent it ahead of time, you are going to end up hitting items in your mastered Class which you won't be able to synth because of a required sub level. It happened in FFXI, so I could easily see it happening again here if they don't pay attention.
Honestly, there isn't a good reason to do it.
Man FF11 people (me too since i played for 6 years) got raped for cash.... i wont support it again.
it's low priority stuff for now and not even looked at although it been mentioned so wouldn't worry too much about crafting part for now, once they make another post mentioning it should make a new thread and go full on discussion in there for this stuff.
I just want to get the damn magazine... hope they have it in the store tomorrow.
For once i do want people to rage and complain a lot.it's low priority stuff for now and not even looked at although it been mentioned so wouldn't worry too much about crafting part for now, once they make another post mentioning it should make a new thread and go full on discussion in there for this stuff.

Maybe if they loud enough they wont put this money maker mechanic in.
Every single person I know in FFXI who is a die hard crafter, having multiple characters so as to master all of the crafts which they wished to do, were still very social. Mastering multiple crafts didn't make them antisocial. It's what they preferred to leveling other jobs. They just had to purchase multiple mules to do it.
Also, in XIV, not everyone will wnat to level all crafts, or even do any crafting period. Just like there are those who don't want to do DoL Class, DoM, or DoW. Not everyone is going to want to level every class.
People already rip everyone off that is a DoH currently, so it realistically wouldn't change anything but make it so you can't fully cap off every single crafting class. Logically they won't recess your progression when they raise the caps because you've already hit the cap and it would be silly to say you can't do everything now with rank 50 DoH classes. Though when you get down to it, the focus of an MMORPG has been and always will be the battle aspect, no MMO has yet to strike a perfect balance between support and offense system, not even TERA did with it's political system.
Yea leveling sub crafts again and again is so much fun .Is not even about the main craft anymore.People already rip everyone off that is a DoH currently, so it realistically wouldn't change anything but make it so you can't fully cap off every single crafting class. I fail to see how can you support such a thing.
I have no idea what your talking bout tera and what not or balance etc.
was never my point but you never get my point anyways ehehe.
Edit: let me simplify it for ya, since you get carried away every time speaking about unrelated stuff.
1. it makes you pay for alts.
2. it makes you play alts.
3. you have to re-level all subcrafts + the part of the main craft you already leveled in your main as a sub for a different craft.
