So, how about those RMT Bot armies?

I just got done reporting 5 alliance sized groups of bots in Western and Central Thanalan on Balmung, I tried to include as many of the bot names as I could target. They're all low level THM characters, just nuking to death anything that spawns near them, in perfect unison. The shout channel in each area was relaying where these groups were, trying to get more people to help. Hopefully I wasn't the only one reporting these groups.

SE, I know you're trying to deal with this, but you're losing the war.

This afternoon, I found about 20 of them on Gridania, completing the Lv15 story quest. I came out of a cut-scene only to find my chat log spammed with the "Out of Ul'dah" achievement and a bunch of those bots teleporting out and more showing up.

They aren't losing, they are winning. The fact that the RMT are leveling their characters again means that SE has sugessfully eliminated the RMT Blackmages from the game and now the RMT have to start back from square one for the RMT legion of botters.

I really think people need to pay attention to the news on the site before they make post like these because it's to be expected that low lv RMT will pop up again once they have been banned however you need to keep this in mind. You can't assume that they are RMT, while yes they are likely RMT they can't just ban them on the basis that they are a group of THM lving together and working together because you can't assume they are RMT because they haven't done anything to suggest they are RMT.

Only when they have performed an RMT action can they be successfully banned but it takes time but you have to treat these low lv THM as fresh starts with no blemishes on their record. SE can't just say oh group of THM they must be RMT 'ban" cause the moment they make a mistake and ban someone that wasn't RMT they hurt their playerbase and it puts them in a bad place because now they look incompetent in their ability to properly ban RMT if they just randomly start to ban any group of THM lving together.

Though what you say is true, I think we all know what is going on here. SE does as well I am sure. Watching them as they lvl. Hell at least one of them had to have subbed. SE will get their money and as soon as they get that fiddy and make a "transaction" they will prolly have to start over.

If the recent amount of "accounts banned" is anything to go by, SE made off with a fair amount of money from their subs, and the RMT now have to start over from scratch to continue their ways.

Seems like they just do frig all in some cases, there are some really old bots on Behemoth, there's even a 2 FCs of them, despite reporting them often, they have been here for months in the exact same spot......

Your wasting your time, theres been a crew of them, they even have their own FC, botting for oh probably 5 monthes now right off of Camp Tranquil. Just amazing how these guys get away with this.
