More advanced battle system please!

TERA's battle system was the only thing good about that game the rest of the game sucked. My problem is MMORPG's that have advanced combat system usually are garbage in other areas.

We had this in 1.0 before Yoshi-p.. everyone hated that battle system.. Remember the old days of having to hold the shield button to use your shield and that was the only way to pop shield abilities. No one really liked it when we had.

and no no to skill chains and magic bursts like ffxi. When and IF i miss Xi ill go play that.

Mastanight. This is how the game was deliberately designed. Before released there was even some Dev info where they talked about specifically removing action elements from battles. Simply put the problems you listed are here to stay by design. This game probably is not for you.

As many have stated before, if you're looking for an engaging combat system, I also agree that TERA would be the best place to look. This game's battle system is designed this way, I don't expect any seriously sweeping changes unless we blow up the world once again.

What? Great aesthetics and an okay story with an awesome combat system. The only thing wrong with it right now, is the loss of a better glamour system and now some terrible people in game.

TERA had one of the best tanking(As a Lancer) that I've ever experienced in an MMORPG. A sad shame the rest of it was bad.

Soloing BAMs with my Berzerker was sooo much fun.

My suggestion is for making the game better and more interesting, instead of so basic. Yes it is true I have been playing for awhile, but am bored with the simple battle system as I progress and playing became very easy compared to when I started. Sounds to me like some players like to follow square-enix like a sheep in a herd.

I would like the combat to become a little more advanced. We don't need an action game or anything crazy, but at the end of this start and the beginning of the new expansion, I feel it needs something more.
