Rare dye on cash shop for 2.5 please!?!?

Jet Black is the rarest for me. I have 14x of the rest, only 4x black (had 6x, but used two). I have yet to use a dye that isn't the black, except two of the free golds, because I don't really care much for the boring monochrome colors. I like reds and greens and purples. So sad that the red and green metallics are cash shop only and overpriced, because I'd never pay that. Here's hoping the purple metallic is in 2.5, and not the cash shop...

yeah they should seriously be offered in game as well... and if they still want to be stingy about it they could break them into different retainer jobs like gld only red metallic and healer only green metallic etc... and only at XV venture, whatever just as long as they could say, "it's also offered in game."

In a fair world, that's how it should be. The OP is an example of where the cash shop works in that fair world. Vanity items that are rather rare to acquire in the game are made available to players willing to bypass the RNG for aesthetic goods. Unfortunately, that's not how the real world works. A for-profit business makes decisions that result in profit that justifies the reason something exists in the first place. Key word being "justifies".

A small profit is typically not seen as a justifiable reason for something to exist, at least for a big company like SE, primarily because it has to outweigh the time spent by the people who set it up and are paid for it. Keep in mind, this isn't JUST in regards to setting up a webpage, but also the costs for security, server usage, foreign translation and customer service, etc. If the cash shop does not offer at least some goods unique from what is found in the game, the company will generally not see the risk involved as worthwhile. Not unless they have proof that their venture will satisfactorily profit them.
