Funniest dungeon/raid moments you've had

i'll go first.

My funniest raid moment was in syrcus tower. All alliances DPS was top notch. All of us manage to beat the first two bosses before they did their ultimate one hit mechanic. (Whatever you want to call it)

So we get to the third boss Amon. We're at the phase where he freezes three random players and starts casting "curtain call" I hide behind the frozen player and BOOM! Everyone but me and the tank are alive. I've never laughed so hard and so loud. Seeing almost the entire party list HP drop to 0 so fast was surreal to me. Lol

So what are your funny stories you want to share.

When i leveled rogue i made a party of 4 dps ( all rogues ) and qeued for copperbell. We all needed exp but ended up just stealthing the last area. We were like wait wtf lol and went back to clear mons for exp.
Then we proceeded to kite the last boss like there was no tomorrow.

Back when ifrit hm was pretty tough , i used to cringe when ppl dps down nails and fail. Once ifrit starts casting wiping hellfire everyone goes gg. As he casts it im like hnggggggggg hq vit potion gooooo then boom the 2 tanks and i are alive and all is well.
The nonstop chat spam of wtf how did u live? Never got old Xp

It was late so I'm pretty sure that added to it, but I was in a DF party leveling warrior in Aurum vale. Our first pack I use tomahawk to just make it a calm easy dungeon run, I'm in no hurry to see if the DF group is speed run quality or not and everyone was polite in the beginning. Dragoon uses spinedive on my target, getting the whole entrance area aggrod on accident - we do fine just a bit more intense and mp drained healer. Then I pull the next mob and he gets tongued from a frog, got aggro we're doing fine. While fighting the frog a patrol walks by and aggros the dragoon as he tries to get heavy swing buff on the wrong side.

After the fight he's apologizing profusely saying his skill bar is all messed up and he's mentally playing a monk, I believe him he seems to be a nice guy... besides we still felt pretty good- like the rest of the dungeon won't be a problem because we survived half the room pull. With only one other patrol and a shroom pack left we decided to just clear the room for exp, nothing can go wrong now - I face aggro the monsters and get a solid enmity barrier and we fight. Mid way he uses elusive jump and lands right in front of the only other living patrol's line of sight.

I don't know, it could have been late or it could have been the last few loldrg threads I read but it just really made me laugh. Rest of the dungeon wen't beautifully.

snowcloak, quite late at night with My SMN, came to the first boss and we accidentially missed the bombs, everyone died exept me and the boss had minimum health, everyone was screaming for lb and i, stressed as a hen res the healer and died myself, healer saved the day with holy, WITHOUT CLERIC STANCE, Why in the world i didnt just Put a ruin 2 i dont know ;D a great laugh with a good team at least

This pretty much sums up (most of what could be caught) my moments...

Reminds me too much of my first Kirin run in FF11. Leader trades the pop item just as the lead blm goes "AFK!" Chaos then ensues because the Blm was in charge of the summon party while the leader was part of the kirin kite party...

We wiped. The blm comes back to find all of us recovering (he's still dead) and wants to know what happened.

Raid leader: "Well AFKgus you ran off right when we popped Kirin so he's what happened."

Needless to say the nickname stuck.

As for ff14 best dungeon runs were with one of my first FC's it was called Ender. They were helping me through Titan hard (back when ilvl 90 was the best you could get) so I could get my sch relic. The fc leader was our pld tank and his irl friend was a monk. And I'm not sure how he did it but that monk managed to get himself killed within the first 30 seconds of every attempt. I nicknamed him Titan's B*tch because of it.
