Will we see special events for upcoming Final Fantasy games?

I can't speak for the majority of players here, but I'd like to say that I enjoyed the special, promotional cross-over events for Final Fantasy XIV, like the event for Final Fantasy XI, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, and Dragon Quest X. I think it would be great if the team worked on more of these events for future Final Fantasy games, such as Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (I know that the release window is very narrow, but nonetheless, it would be really cool to see), and Final Fantasy XV, arguably the most anticipated Final Fantasy game since it was first announced back in 2006.

To be honest they have a very huge marketing potential when it comes to releasing the "Golden Saucer' rather than have events in game that are "seasonal", they could just release new items/gear through the Golden Saucer or even Triple Triad cards that promote upcoming games/releases.

Orrrrr they could have a section of the Saucer devoted to "Ads" that support upcoming games, in the form of a stage on which a performance is acted out relating to that game. Could have some real fun with that. I suppose there'd have to be SOME kind of reward for sitting through it, though. Like you said, promotional items like rare cards for TT, or even vanity gear like T-shirts. lol

Still waiting on an FFXII event. Zodiac weapons, sky travelling pirates and espers. What's not to love? Also with the new machinist job I'm sure ppl will want that Balthier glamour. I myself you love some FFXII Judge armor.

It's free marketing for a new game, they would be stupid not to toss in some promotional event. I think they have done cross game exclusive rewards in the past.

I just want Yuna's E-Wand for my WHM and possibly Seymur's clothes for my SMN. With FFX-X2 HD being re-released for PS4 and Xbox-One, I even have lots of reason to get illuded!
