Well in a sense, no. The fights of the past are not as difficult and enthralling as before, but they're still there.

You don't need T7 to be full of 1-hit kill to be enthralling. The enthralling stuff will always be the latest content and getting thru those, and there will always be latest content added for that. Heck titan EX is still tossing people off the platform over and over but enthralling old content is just an oxymoron.

You mean the bees, and you couldn't afford to ignore them unless you were already over-geared for the fight.

With regards to the OP, other than seasonal events no content has been removed from the game. All story content, dungeons, quests, gear sets and fluff content is still there to enjoy. The only difference will be that the more difficult of the older battle content has been made easier to help people catch up.

Like others have said all of the same content is there, just things are bounds easier now.
Dungeon nerfs, Relic drop increases, etc.

Man, those were the days. AK runs were the stop-gate. If DPS couldn't hack it then it was time to continue to farm for gears. Many a time a group fell apart there. Sadly those checks don't exist anymore, all Duties are lvl50 with iLVL below what most currently have. They need to make a set of duties that are i120/30+, give us a challenge again, with just rewards.
