So you're saying the entire point of the crafting system is to provide a small group of people with a significant edge over the rest of the playerbase for a limited time after every patch?
Skill is required for a single person, or a small group of people. Then it is irrelevant forever for that set of items. It isn't really a skill based system if one person can tell you how to do it and it becomes completely about rng.
Fighting titan sucks, but even knowing what to do, it's still about skill. I hate fighting titan, it's a PITA since I'm on fios, but I can appreciate that. Crafting isn't about skill anymore as soon as the trick is discovered.
As for dreadwyrm, Yoshi already pointed out that coils are indeed overtuned and that heading forward, there will be "normal" difficulty versions of such things.
