Bots on Balmung....

Lately on Gilgamesh it's been stacks of Black Mage clones in AF gear - 3 or 4 identical black mages almost stacked on top of each other, standing next to the main Aetheryte, not doing... anything? For hours.

I don't know what's going on technically. They're just really, really creepy...

Agree. Its really disturbing. They're all gathered around the aythernite in Ul'dah and Gridiana in plain sight.
Sometimes they're not wearing AF gear but solidery too. Usually the solidery ones all have the same face. The AF ones seem to range from large to small.

There's these bots in North Shroud, I kill them by opening trade with them the moment they start pulling plasmoids. I mean, if they were a person, they'd close trade and fight instead of staring at it and being pounded faster than a cheerleader on prom night.

Seriously, how can this possibly still be going on?? Everybody on the server knows their botting, they've been reported over and over and over. They bot in the same place 24/7 and have been there for at least 3 months, maybe more...

Would a mod, dev, (I know you guys read these posts because I was banned for 10 days), please explain to us why this is going on? There cannot be any possible excuse left for not getting rid of these guys.

I've seen one that is almost always standing in one spot in Limsa Lominsa Lower Deck at the marketboard near the Arcanist guild in Balmung. Q.Q I think they were a level 1 marauder lalafell.

On a side note, why do these crazy things always happen on balmung?
Yes i'm aware botting happens on all servers, but it seems MUCH more common on balmung
The server so congested no one can seem to join.

Do they have to? We all know RMT exists, and those who care to have been reporting it. Have you even seen this?

RMT and other illicit activities upset the balance of the game and, as such, are prohibited under the Terms of Service.

Because we have confirmed the existence of players who are engaging in these illicit activities, we have taken the actions listed below.

Time Period: Dec. 11, 2014 to Jan. 7, 2015
- Accounts receiving disciplinary action for RMT advertising: 2,512
- Accounts receiving disciplinary action for RMT/illicit activity: 4,450
- Action Details: Permanent ban from FINAL FANTASY XIV

- Accounts receiving disciplinary action for participation in RMT/illegal activity: 1
- Action Details: Temporary ban from FINAL FANTASY XIV

Players who discover any confirmed cheats should, under no circumstances, exploit or disseminate such information. Instead, we ask that players file a report by using the in-game command [System Menu] -> [Support Desk] -> [Contact Us] -> [Report Cheating].

Obviously not since the same bot crew has been in the same place botting 24/7 for the last 4-5 months

Siren Server has also a player using 5 bots for spiritbounding too. that guy(sadly we cant tell names here <-<) is always in the northshrouds killing all enemys where those electric orbs, bats, big trees are.
Pretty easy to see for people doing Ixal Tribe quests.
I reported him so often.. I gave up.. <.<
I gave up reporting any bots/rmts since then.
I dont wanna spend my paid playtime for reporting ilegal stuff and nothing is going to happen.

Jet, after ->over half year<- he's still around and botting! <o<
Spiritbounding while asleep - getting whole load of Gil. That guy even bought a Nuteater minion for 7mio D:< Not funny!
