    WHM-less teleporting isn't a completely new thing. Outpost and Campaign teleportation in FF11 was very similar, and there were even moogles providing teleports city-to-city quite frequently. I wouldn't complain if SE puts some more restrictions on FF14 teleporting, like allowing only crystal-to-crystal teleportation, but they shouldn't remove it entirely.

    I have to agree with Jake on this one.
    Why are you people talking about "wht mages should have this cuz they had in FFXI"?

    Please broaden your horizons, my fellow players This is a new game, everything doesn't need to be the same as in FFXI. I feel like whenever there's a problem with this game (or even when there's not) there's always someone saying "oh they should remove this and do it like in FFXI". :\

    We should just give some suggestions about how to improve the systems that are currently in place to make them enjoyable

    Getting rid of instant teleports just so we can watch the copypasta terrain on a chocobo or airship? I guess there are people who like to look at those copypasta terrain, but taking out of teleport will just make a lot more people to suffer.

    Removing the ability to teleport from the game for any reason is pointless. While I can see what some mean when they say it breaks immersion it's not a good enough reason to remove it. Casual players will still not have the time to ride chocobo's or airship. Considering SE wants the game to remain a casual friendly game I doubt they would remove teleports.

    Once Chocobo's and airships are added people will use them. It's not like everyone is only gonna use Teleports many people run out of anima rather quickly and thus would need to take advantage of the alternate methods of travel. Options is the name of the game. Once the other things are added it's not like anyone is forcing you to tele if you don't like doing it because it breaks immersion great you don't have to use it but using that as a reason to remove it thus punishing the more casual players really isn't fair.

    I think they should remove teleport too when they give us another way of transportation. But i want a way of moving between the cities and the camps also. Airships will probably only between cities and chocobos regular mounts. A chocobo would be too slow sometiems...... I want something like WOW did with the flight points... where you can fly between multiple small towns, cities and other spots in an area.

    This is what they should do, once alternative transport is implemented.

    I feel anima teleporting should remain, even when chocobos and airships have made it into the game. This will give people more options and one can always choose "not" to teleport.
