>.< My New Year’s resolution is to finally stop lurking like a creep and get involved with ENTM instead of just drooling over all the amazing shots we get to see. And I finally also got enough posts to vote! \o/
Here goes:

Women:

1. Adeline Weaver: I really like the brightness of this picture, the colours are vibrant and yet somehow calming. The expression on your face is nice, as is the detail of the dirt. Looks like you just had a satisfying round of gardening. And is it just me or do your clothes mirror the colours of the surroundings quite well? The minion is a nice touch as well, he fits into the overall colour scheme.

2. Rhaya Relanah: Nice, warm colours in which your colouring actually stands out a bit by being more of a cooler tone. And I really like the pose and the two fairies as “extras”, though their brightness does almost distract from you. It definitely helps that you are centered and framed by the leaves to counteract that. The leaves have a bit of a downside in that the rough textures really come to light. Very much green blob. >.< Still, a nice frame overall.

Men:

1. Jinx Fireboot: Amazing lighting. I’m a sucker for those lines of shadow the sun does with trees and other obstacles in this game and it always lifts a picture for me to the next level. While you seem to be more goofing off than helping out with that pose, it does fit with the lavender theme and the calming effect of the blue-ish violet the flowers have on the overall picture. Your red hair also really helps drawing the eye to you in this sea of blue (-ish violet).

2. Adam Flyrmyn: Very different setting from the others, both men and women, and I like it. The many different shades of green plus your outfit’s green. The red of the apple is a nice touch of colour in there and the lighting isn’t too dark with the sun shining through the leaves to make the colours loose vibrancy. I find your expression a bit odd/too whimsical for the situation but maybe that’s just me. ._.

Not chosen:

Women:

3. Sakuraya Kai: Interesting locale, but it allowed you to choose a nice shot in action. I especially like the movement your hair shows and your expression is really determined. ^^ What I found odd that while most of the picture has a fairly light but dimmed lighting your face is really bright, almost too bright. I’d almost guess the sun minion was used, but for my taste the effect is a touch too obvious.

4. Iris Dawnshade: Very nice background and overall shot, but I miss a bit of the vibrancy that Adeline’s lighting had. I like that the NPC is another Lala, but your pose lacks a bit of animation, like for example Sakuraya’s did. Your facial expression is also very impassive.

5. Eirwen Mackenzie: Despite the dim lighting you managed to utilize it very well to accentuate your face and expression. The pink of your clothes also grabs attention, though I think a nice red that mirrors the windmills might have been better (or I just don’t like pink that much <.<). The frame created by the branches is quite nice, but I feel you are very removed from the actual fruit, at least much further than the others.

Male:

3. Marik Destiel: Nice setting and colour composition with the added detail of the mandragora necklace and minion. What I didn’t quite like was the absolute profile shot. Because you’re low to the ground I guess you couldn’t zoom in more, but the profile makes your face and expression smaller even and that makes the shot loose some of the appeal in my eyes.

4. Flare Anderfel: At first I wasn’t sure what the pose was about, but then I noticed the rain! The lighting draws attention to you so well, it takes a moment longer to take in the surrounding. I do like your expression though and the entire picture tells a bit of a story. Just the contrast between you and your surroundings is a bit too strong for my taste.

5. Aidan Weaver: On the one hand the simplicity of the picture has a certain charm, but with the other 4 telling interesting stories or having really nice compositions, this just comes a little bit short. The expression you have is a bit odd, sort of squinting?
