    Shark, Sheep, and Butterfly are cool

    I wanted to know what the PVP animal gear sets look like. Since we don't have aquatic animal, Dark knight as a Shark just seems cool, and we all remember Street Sharks, lol

    Year of the Sheep, just felt like something to do with year of the sheep. may the MACHINIST could work with it.

    Butterflies are just OP as all out door, I would even go as far to say, how one dye the gear is how the way the wings look.

    TBH I still don't see why Dragon wasn't implemented more in Dragoon and snake maybe used for NIN probably but o well...I know this is speculation but just to chime in on the now gear...Why do we SCHs get an ELK , and The WHM gets the sexy ass swangrace coat?

    Agreed, I main SMN/SCH in FL but I've bought the i110 PVP tops for other classes instead. I don't want to show up for a fight with my butt already gift-wrapped for the other team with a bow to top things off. Especially on healer it's like a sign that says "Lift here and beat black & blue." :,(

    My copy of the Another Dawn artbook says that the original 8 sets were designed by five different artists, and that the animals depicted by the armors were semi-mythological in game.
    • Kazuya Takahashi: Lionmane and Swangrace
    • Tetsu Tsukamoto: Bearsmaw and Birdsong
    • Tusbasa Masao: Hawkwing and Wolfeye
    • Nobuyoshi Mihara: Snaketongue
    • Ayumi Namea: Elktail

    Birdsong it seems was the first set designed and Batsight was not included.

    That's interesting to know. I think each design has its merits and some are more suitable for some players than others. Like the BLM set even, I know of plenty that want that, but on me it just wouldn't work.
