That's right... I forgot that the Poetic Gear would be upgradable to i130. Though I just realized by staring at the merchant just now that the i120 pants don't have any piety on them either! *rage* T_T

As for BCoB... I haven't passed turn 5 yet. (Never really been in an FC that's gone to it and have no interest doing it with random people I don't know. I know. I'm an old fashioned kind of raider. =/) I suppose I could try to break out of that mold when Alexander comes in 3.0.

If anything I've known from this game(first mmo btw) is that they build on content, though a completely different raid/setting they won't make it easier than the Tier 13 right now. So with that like I said sharpen your skills on ScOB and FcOB find a group people are still gated behind T9 so you have a little time. Trust me, Dbs showed up in T5,T9,and T13 so yeah they def build on mechanics and how to handle them. It also prepares you to actually heal in a raid environment it's different from healing a primal.... Coils last way longer and a lot more mechanics and team oriented

Bear in mind that the Tomestone gear (In this case, Poetics) is intentionally sub-optimal. Poetics more so than past gear sets. They're there mostly for you to help fill in the gaps so you can more easily complete FCoB. Get the gear, it'll help. If you fall into the trap of thinking "The next content patch is right around the corner, no sense in wasting resources to get the current stuff when it's about to become obsolete!", you'll never upgrade because content patches happen rather frequently in this game!

I only raid with people I don't know when I'm confident the content can be completed easily. Nothing wrong with that. But if you WANT to raid, you should find a group that raids and join it. Then you can raid with people you've at least met. :P
