As a DPS is not an issue either, as I spam FLARE with a relentessly passion while I maniacally laugh and pet my white cat (Which is on my lap). But still, I find it really annoying and rude. It pisses me off a lot. Good manners and education are traits that seem to be lost here. Of course I won't ragequit under that situation if we can still manage it.

As a side note, I don't think people should attack some of the ragequitters. Some people have their limits, they don't have to be full patient all time if they don't like something. They're free to leave the way and whenever they want. I understand that some of you don't ragequit, but you shouldn't sit there an attack the people who do it. Not everybody has the same tolerance about everything. .-.

And no, I'm not contradicting myself, speaking of good manners and education while I support the ragequitter. You can give everything to a group and if they don't progress, if they are stealing your time, if they are making you go through a situation that makes you feel REALLY uncomfortable, then you don't have to accept that. It's not like they won't replace you if you leave. Most of the time, a replacement comes right away while you leave, depending on the role.

If it is rage quitting because trolls, insulting/rudeness/bad behavior, discomfort over certain things (inappropriate behavior/comments/etc), broken gear (wouldn't call that a rage quit though), etc, then that's one thing that I would put up there with a sort of self defense (evading bullying, etc). I don't blame them for leaving. I did, because a person was insulting an FC mate and wouldn't leave.

I've had someone say "Oh, we're doing a full run? (IE all monsters, no skipping) Sorry, I don't have that much time before I have to leave, so I need to go" - apologized and left. No hard feelings left there because they left without being an ass about it. Hell, I'm fine with people leaving after many wipes and saying they just couldn't stay any longer (doesn't mean I'll personally accept a vote abandon, though lol - but the person is free to leave and the vote majority are free too vote what they want, I'm not going to judge). I'm fine with that, given they weren't stupid about it - just like the before-mentioned case.

But I've witnessed too many rage quitters leave because they couldn't have it easy (wasn't done in one swoop) and insult the group/call everyone stupid; point all blame on a person and then leave after one wipe, etc. They rage quit because they had to work for it/didn't have a win handed to them, or they themselves refused to have understanding for another (mistakes made, new to the fight, etc).

Leaving because someone is being an asshole, you need to go due to other things, etc is fine with me and I'm sure others.
Childish rage quits over stupid things, I just can't respect.
