

I wish people would stop replying that to suggestions. After all, if SE does see this and support the suggestion, it doesn't meant they have to do it right away. They're only doing ps3 support up to 3.0, so they could always add this suggestion for after 3.0 if the PS3 can't handle it.
I think it's a great idea and would love to see this implemented someday.
But if i dont remember wrong adding new tabs in menu(like OP's picture)would be hard if not impossible due PS3 RAM issues. But yeah this kind of feature would be neat, they could even keep prisms with this system(still requiring prism when changing appearance)so crafters wouldnt lose that either.



nah it wouldn't, only things that have to remain in memory would cause ram issues. this wouldn't remain in memory it would be something called forth when needed from the hard drive

I was thinking of suggesting this. Having a list of unlockable armor appearances seems much less memory intensive than storing each item on a retainer, where the item has to keep track of what materia is (or isn't) on it at any time vs "does the character have the unlock for this item? yes/no"
