Well, I really didn't know if you were serious about that or just joking around. But if you really are trying to find a partner I think it's the wrong place to look for. Relationships in games rarely work out. You could also just try and join an LGBT linkshell on your server. I'm not trying to spread negativity, I just think that trying to find partners on online games forums is wrong. But that's just my opinion, no offense intended

While I agree with this for the most part, my GF and I met in FFXI in 2010...and are still together and very happy RL. I do believe it is very rare for these things to work out though.

Why couldn't he be serious? We have members in our FC that met through our company that are now in serious relationships. Why should anyone asking for love be a troll? Not saying he couldn't be, but that your statement simply guarantees he is, instead of allowing for the possibility that he is in fact serious. It's rude and ignorant to simply assume the worst of someone without any proof when it comes to their emotions and personal lives.

That being said, I'm not really sure if this is the best place for THIS thread in particular. Perhaps he would get a better response in the companies forum.

OP, you may in fact want to consider finding a different server if there simply isn't any LGBT FCs or LS on your server, or if there are, and they may be dead. The "community" in general seems to congregate on certain servers where there are already large groups of like minded people. I can't say for certain what other servers have large groups of LGBT members, but I am certain that besides my FC, there are many other people of alternative lifestyles on Famfrit too.
