There will be no dev replies until the New Year, they are all on Vacation.

Greetings everyone,

The North American Community Team will begin our holiday break starting tomorrow with all of us returning in the new year. We wanted to let you know that during this time there may not be any comments posted from us, but we’ll still be checking in from time to time when we can (and of course… the GMs are always watching ).

GM support and the Support Center will still be available; however, please note that the Support Center will be closed during major holiday dates.

With all the tantalizing news that came out of the recent Fan Festival, I am sure everyone is just as excited as we are to hit the ground running for this new year! We’ll all be back in the office next year eager to get the ball rolling for Patch 2.5 and Heavensward!

The Sugarloaf hat has been available since day one of the event, all you had to do was leave lavender beds after getting quests to unlock your event dailies, then zone back into lavender beds and you could continue the event storyline quests which ended with you getting the Sugarloaf hat. Also, event page states specifically that the rewards are tied to the daily event quests.

My understanding (indeed I could be wrong though) was that new ("better") items will be added to those bags you can exchange the fallen stars for? Hence why I was holding getting any until 24th.

And the description on this item is wrong too as it says you would get several wonderful items but you always only get 1 (=! several) coin. (worth 100 or 500 gils)

I miss the point to "lie" about this.
