There is a trick with steady that forces the egis to stop whatever they're doing. Do steady->enkindle to have HellFire/Aerial Blast/Earthern Fury come out now instead of whenever. It also works with the egis regular moves. Try working on steady->Enkindle->obey button combination. This kind of works better with Garuda though, as the others will just move out of Melee range as soon you do steady.

I've been doing that as of late. Still wish the Egi's were more responsive though.

It use to be worst. If you had told your pet to enkindle, but your pet was in the middle of doing something else and missed there chance to enkindle. EnKindle would still go on CD it was a pain in the ass.

That issue is still present with Garuda. Ifrit and Titan do their signatures pretty quickly and rarely give me issues.

The only time it seems to happen to me is when the contagion command is still buffering or during the contagion animation.

Honestly I don't even know why we have Enkindle when they could easy add a fifth pet action for inferno, aerial blast, or earthen fury. Would make life so much easier on us.
