A little something i've been working on, wanted it finished by now but haven't had the time to focus on it. BUT it's the first piece of 'artwork' i've felt compelled to do all year. So i'm pleased about that much :3

Its been down for about 12+ hours... It ruined my wedding! I hope that, seeing as its not your fault (or SE's) that maybe there could be an extension to the submission deadlines?

Hopefully. We got an extra day to turn our stuff in for That ksgiving week, so hopefully I'll get a Christmas miracle :P

Alright, so it's a Christmas miracle. I'm calling this round non-elimination, and I'm going to explain why.

We had people approach us concerned about a massive influx of votes for one model from their home server over the last two weeks. Last week even had we just gone judge votes totally, it wouldn't have changed things. This week it would, but would unfairly screw over a different model so I'm not willing to do that. Nor am I willing to throw out -all- votes from that server because there's no way to tell which are "legitimate" votes and which are just a model's friends voting for them.

There's been no hard and fast rule regarding this in the past because it's inherently unenforceable in any realistic manner. However when something this obvious comes up...yeah, we have no choice but to do -something-.

So for this week while I discuss things with Rongi and the judges for ideas, I'm calling non-elimination. This -does- mean that there will be a double-elimination round later down the line. I'll put up scores and feedback shortly.

Everyone - ENTM is not a popularity contest It's not "who can get the most of their friends to come vote". We operate on an honour system that people are genuinely just voting for their favourite shot. I don't know what the right solution is here right now and frankly, I'm annoyed that I have to try and come up with one. There's no prize at stake here. This is just to try and make the forums a little bit of a brighter place.

In brighter news, given the PSN outages I -am- going to extend the deadline for an extra day. This means the round won't go up until shortly after midnight Saturday (so early Sunday morning) due to the new deadline of midnight EST Saturday.

I don't think the voting needs to even be considered for alteration. This isn't a "REAL" competition.. .there's no prize other than the wonderful collection of screenshots you create due to this wonderful gathering. There's no prize. Its for fun. If people are going to "rally the troops" in order to get more votes, that's normal, hell it even happens on American Idol. As a latent participant and fan, even I am irritated that this is an issue. Whatever reason people vote, whether its for popularity or they truly enjoy the shot, it is still a vote. It works that way for presidential elections. Are we going to implement an electoral college. I don't think that Tyriont or Rongi should have to work so hard for a volunteer "competition" and I'm somewhat disappointed.
