Starlight Festival - Incorrect NPC Nameplate - "East-End Boy"

During the quest "The Gift of Joy (The Lavender Beds)," the player must interact with a child NPC. There is a chance that the NPC that spawns for this sequence of the quest is an Elezen female child, however the nameplate incorrectly reads "East-End Boy."

    Date & Time: 12/15/2014 @ 11:45 AM PST

    Frequency: Sometimes

    Character Name: Hakata Ramen

    Race: Elezen M

    World: Siren

    Class/Level: 50 Warrior

Area and Coordinates: Lavender Beds - 10X, 13Y

    NPC Name: East-End Boy

    Steps:
    1. Complete all prerequisite quests for the Starlight Festival.
    2. Accept the quest "The Gift of Joy (The Lavender Beds)" from Saint's Little Helper.
    3. Progress through the quest until instructed to speak with the East-End Boy.
    4. Observe the NPC model and nameplate.

Note: The NPC that spawns appears to be random, and it may take multiple attempts at the quest to spawn the NPC with the incorrect nameplate/model. This issue was only found in the Lavender Beds, but may also occur for the same quest in The Goblet and Mist.

lol. I've seen this, and I don't see why it is a problem. Hell its probably not even a bug, just a play on the fact that male elezen are undeniably effeminate, and especially so in their pre-teens

I did not notice this until just now, but in that screenshot, my title incorrectly say <Sister of Ash> @_@. There's another bug for ya, but I have no idea how that was produced. It is appearing as Brother of Ash in game currently.

This would make more sense if it was a male Elezen with an "East-End Girl" nameplate, would it not? The current construction would imply that a female Elezen was in some way masculine.

The title of the Npc's , like so many other things in the game is a nod to an 80's band ="Petshop Boys" and a title to one of their songs is "West End Girls" http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/petsh...tendgirls.html . Many quest names. Fates. Etc are play on words of 80's / 90's things/songs. Are the boy Npc's suppose to be in smocks? Well the song is about very poor boys from the east end (they were a British pop band) and rich girls from the west end. so it's possible they are trying to symbolise how poor they are that they can't even afford pants. And since we all start out in our underwear when we start a new class I don't think it's unbelievable that the boys are purpously in long shirts/smocks.

Not really, I see an elezen boy with a hairstyle commonly worn by female elezen and miqo'te, the effect is the same regardless of construction.
