Garuda is better than it anyway---IFRIT is better than it and so is Titan and all of the above have better designs. But to be fair that is a matter of opinion on the design front but still, wow. Honestly, Carby is at the very bottom of the list of things I want changed with SMN. It's form and function is nothing more than weaker version of Titan and Garuda so what is the point other than cosmetics? If you want carby back I would start begging SE for a Carby minion.

It means that they will listen to what you ask for, and determine whether or not it benefits the game.

When it comes to SMNs and Carbuncles, it is quite simple; Carbuncles are the entities called forth by the Arcanists. Summoner is not Arcanist, even if it is based from it. It has it's own lore, and thus its own summons not tied into Arcanist.

I get that this is important to you, specificially, but it won't be happening in this game. Class/job identity is paramount when it comes to their design and aesthetic. And something that would impact on that is not something that is going to be implemented. You're just going to have deal with that decision and live with it. SE aren't going to just up and change their policies and design decisions because a few people ask for it. THey will consider it, and from there it is up to the director whether it turns into something or not.
