Am I blind? Forums suddenly speak of new jobs and also new race but I don't see anything in Lodestone so far...

I saw videos and links of the new race in their thread, but no videos of those new jobs here. Could anyone post?

Yes we hear you. Your initial post is rather mild so you don't come of as some salty dude (dudette?). Then your further replies show your true motive: you're salty there is no caster job. It's a lot of "I am not happy", "I this", "I that", "I , I, me, me, me". See where I'm going?

It looks like many people love the new jobs. SE can't please everyone. Just look forward to it. I for one am waiting on SAM since 1.0. In the meantime I enjoy the game with what it offers, and it's a joy!

I think the next dps job will be magic dps again. They have made a good choice to add a third tank and healer. 3.0 (so far) will have 3 tanks, 3 healers, 3 melee, 2 physical ranged and 2 caster ranged. When they add the next ranged dps, I think it's going to be magical since physical ranged (machinist) came last.

If BLM bores you and SMN is no option and other jobs don't appeal to you, well.. Do I need to say more? xD

To be fair, the player poll conducted back in 1.0 was for a number of players that are now a minority to the current population. Those that didn't play 1.0 never got to let their voices be heard and, therefore, would never think that 'we' didn't ask for anything like Au Ra to be added.

On top of that, the 1.0 player poll results aren't concrete rules that this game needs to follow. They helped shape the direction of ff14 in order to provide it's players with a game that continues to thrive. And before people raise their pitchforks at my post, I played during 1.0 and participated in all of the polls. Not everything I selected was the popular choice and I find the game quite enjoyable

Oh look, a ENTM non related post by Rongi! :O 4th one ever.

I know we have to stick to the Tank DD Healer Trinity, but I was really hoping for something a little off the wall for each of them. Shadow Tank, Front line Mage DD, and Alchemist healing!

But then all these jobs got released and actually...I am pretty excited! I wont be touching Dark, but Machinist and Astrologist look fierce as Cycle 2 winner Maxwell!

As for the dragon race, the men look super cool with those horns, but I don't like the huge difference in body types for males and females. Hopefully we get a bunny race in the next expansion! :3

Since we haven't got any new magic DPS in the expansion I can imagine we'll get some in a patch like we did NIN. I also imagine it'll be RDM. It better be. Pls, Yoshida. Pls.

Realised I didn't really reply to the actual topic. Someone in this thread earlier said they didn't know they wanted Astrologian. Neither did I. I love the look and I love the concept. I will most definitely try it out when it comes out. I was a bit late on the healer train with WHM and SCH so it'll be nice to catch up with the crowd and get healing with the new job! I also love the Draconian race, a lot of people suspected we'd get a Gria type race, and this is very close to that. It also fits the environment and the story that Shiva set up. It's a really good addition.

back in 1.0 but the poll was misunderstand, but SE have mention many time they will add new dragon beast man race. Honestly I did not expect the race to look like this, I was think about...you know, look beastly like the other beast man in the game
