In reality, no.

If you have a SMN, have the SMN do it.
Why?
Because if the bard has the Bluebuff, all his output damage is 98% reduced, meaning their DPS will suck to oblivion.

It gives a heavy DPS debuff if you're having the bard do it, and who knows what'll happen.

It's a decrease for ~2 gcd. BRD does the least damage of any class, thus it is the least loss of raid dps. SMN is also a caster, so you either have him spam Ruin2 which is horribly MP inefficient, or not do anything at all while running around to take care of it.

Can you at least try being on T12 and doing the fight before you start arguing with me?

He has cleared it as he has the Augmented bow which means he has cleared t12 and he is 100% correct. A SMN can put his dots on and do a large chunk of his damage while camping the bluefire location then pick it up after redfire and lose almost no damage while a BRD losses a lot more damage(and TP if he actually used an attack) in the small time frame then a SMN. SMN can also sprint to to intercept the redfire if need be where a BRD can not.

The most efficient way to do it is to actually have the SCH do blue/red fire assuming he doesn't have brand at the time since his DPS is based on dots and he can still heal with fairy and lustrates while moving and not being affected by the bluefire debuff.

No T11 mapping, so no.

You are right that SCH is the best class to do it, except healers are dealing with brands so it's unsafe to be running around.

That is his achievement page 2 where he has the mapping achievement if you looked. And yes in order to have an augmented weapon you must have completed T12/13 and got a carbontwine(he also has the dreadwrym legs which are a T12 drop). I should point out the mapping achievement doesn't matter anyway as some people never clear trash with their statics and never get them. I know someone with a T13 achievement before he had the mapping achievements for 10/11.

So please do some research before you accuse anyone of anything.

You could always have WHM and BRD/range dps do the brand passing, while SCH gets blue+red fire. I've seen that type of strategy done.
