Coming from someone who is short...because it would make me look my weight. I have short legs, my torso is a normal size, just short legs....so it makes me look pudgier than what I really am. So for me...wanting to be tall would make me look my weight :P So I can totally get wanting to be an elezen.

I typically stay away from these threads for fear that someone will discover that I'm a big big man two to three times older than the average forum go'er, maybe an IT unprofessional, with enough chest hair to put Wolverine to shame, maybe I have a beard too, it's ok. And I have some six pack abs right behind my double beer keg belly that hides proof of my manhood. I'm maybe dead sexy (think Fat Bastad without a kilt... oh not like that!)

I think I see the OP's concern. With all these folks acting cutesy, meowing, purring, whatever have you, he just wants to know, "Are you at least a girl? Do you has proof? I just started watching Surrogates and don't want to feel 'weird' about it later." Maybe online gaming has changed in ten years, maybe I'm just paranoid and insecure. Alls I ask is just treat players as if they're genderless. Don't anticipate online romance. Just play and enjoy, socialize, but be understanding if a player doesn't want to talk about their RW drama at length and just want to hang out in game for a while.
