As for my thoughts about Novus:
Personally I favour Piety and Determination to cap out on a Novus/Nexus/Plexus.
Piety offers more sustain as a white mage, a "common" problem for a lot of white mages
Determination raises the amount of HP restored on a reliable level - roughly 25 det for an increase of 10.
Critical hit rate may or may not conserve you MP. On average, every 1% crit increase raises your average HP recovered/cast by 0,5%. Keep in mind that this does not translate to effective HP recovered.

Depending on how you heal and how often you actually try to DPS next to healing, you may or may not want to consider accuracy for the remaining points.

And spell speed? Not even worth considering imo. You can read it up in the topics I linked at the start of this post.
