Just to clarify his point about alphabetical order, in Marketing if you want someone to choose a particular option you put it sooner rather than later. The reason for this is because if someone is lazy, once they find 3 they like, they'll say F it and just vote for those 3 without really looking at others. I don't think it's causing too many issues, but a way around being worried you're playing favoritism if you randomize the orders is to just move everyone up a slot every round, with the first person taking the last. So it'd go A, B, C ,D, for one round, then B,C,D,A, and etc.

For this kind of casual competition I think that would be a sufficient sollution to alleviate the worries from people who dislike it always having the same order.
