Your opinion is subjective though, I for one really like the look of Yoichi's Bow... It's one from the many FF-ish legacy design and got a japanese samurai's lore linked : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nasu_no_Yoichi

It's a bow. Of course it fits the job that uses bows.

As for the design, eh I'm not excited about it. The original relics were very "thematic" and graphically stylized. These are somewhat more filigree and lace, and a bit generic looking. Personally I was expecting a visual upgrade after their Excalibur teaser (it the silhouette isn't -that- different from Curtana) and most of the weapons being completely different puts me off. But they're very detailed and mostly nice looking.

It suits an Archer, not a Bard. How is a Bard going to play a tune with that bow? Compare it to Artemis. Which one is better for bard?

Bards -are- archers. You whip out a separate harp to play your songs anyway, even with the Artemis Bow equipped.

I suppose a bow used by Samurai fits a Bard well then doesn't it, as Bards are well known for being Samurai and having all sorts of Samurai based armour, equipment and origins.

I forgot in every FF game only a Samurai job could use it and you had to defeat Nasu no Yoichi himself to obtain it.

Sarcasm aside, who cares. FF is known for using mythology from around the world in their games, their way.
