Yea, I just always thought it was kinda cool for the different races and genders to have different stances.
More stances in general sounds good to me. In fact, when I first read about the new poses a couple patches ago (or whenever it was), I was hoping something like this was also on the way. It probably involves a bit more work than idle poses but hopefully it's something we see eventually.

PS2 was released in 2000
FFXI was released in 2002
PS3 was released in 2006
FFXIV 2.0 was released in 2013
One was built to take advantage of the console of that generation, having tons of room to grow. The other was released on a console who's next generation came 3 months later (August to November). Not even comparable.

smh... There isn't limitation issues here since you're swapping a few lines of code for another. And like I show in the original post they've done it with a few race/genders to avoid some clipping already.
FFXIV 1.0 was released in 2010 and actually had some racial/gender differences. In ARR they went with universialized approach to "ease development" and to give us Male Miqote and female Roegadyn. It is comparable because the PS2, a system with far less storage, ram and processing power than your old Smart Phone let alone current model smart phone, can do much more in FFXI than FFXIV, something designed on the PC, ported to the PS3 and PS4 and still some how manages to not be able to do things it's predecessor could do 12 years ago.
The very fact there already is a few racial differences (Male Roe vs everyone else) proves they can do it - It's a matter of them not wanting to do it because that would actually mean care for attention to detail went into ARR like it did in XI.

Dev limitations. Time is a resource. Unless you are Matthew McConaughey.

Please look for this in 2.5 as the latest addition to FFXIV Cash Shop!

More stances to pick from across the board is something I support, however, making stances based on race alone, is not.
