Cash Shop: Where do you draw the line?

The real trouble is that it seems that many of the people of the forum see the line far far away... I don't really know what else has to do Square Enix for making them be discomfort with the cash shop... Those ultra-protectors of it seems to welcome P2W games.

Why shouldn't I? My feedback and the feedback of others like me may help let SE know what aspect of teh game caused us to unsub so they can bear it in mind for future design decisions. From a retail business perspective, findind out why you are losing subscribers is one of the two most valuable types of feedback you can aquire (the other is "What would make me subscribe to this service/buy this product").

I myself have invested so much time in this game and made lot of great friends to just see it go this way without giving feedback.

My only problem with the cash shop is 2 things

1. I don't want to see any story related to be in the cash shop like Odin mount and minion now that aside dye and optional mounts like dragons that other stufff that does not impact the game much it sell I mean sellin Odin mount in cash shop is just stupid it was suppose to be Odin extreme drop but bah....

2. Anything that can be brought from the cash shop and convent it in to Gil is a NO!

They can do whatever hell they want as long they don't step on point number 2.

Also all they sell is vanity stuff on the shop. You can sell the ring if you really wanted to for gil. But I don't think they will be a very high demand item considering how everyone can get the normal one for free.

Vanity is content, its like buying a pepperoni pizza and only getting the cheese pizza, pepperoni its extra 5 $

I feel like I've invested too much time and money to quit because of anything relating to the cash shop. Short of paying extra cash to unlock dungeons, I don't see myself quitting because of anything that's going on with that.

Unfortunately for some that line has been crossed. Others are still walking on egg shells on how they feel. A few don’t care as long __________ doesn't make it to the shop. Even if that line is far down the road for you, just state it here.

Feedback is needed on this if we want to keep playing this game we once/still enjoyed. It would be great to see where the majority of the forum users ‘draw their line’ for the cash shop

p.s. Please refrain from belittling others on their decision/where they stand. Look at this thread as an unofficial poll for SE to see where the forum community stands. We all play this game for different reason, and all of them are valid and as important as the other.

It is one of the things that stop me to leave... But I have it clear, if it stills going further to P2W I won't care about anything. First there are my principles, I stated myself to do never play in a P2W again.
