At first I wanted to be an Highlander for the added STR & VIT. I made an active effort to make him look nice. There was only one option for each setting that wasn't damn ugly, and even then it looked like an old rascal more than a beautiful lad (which is almost all options available for Midlander).

I didn't even bother with Roe and Elezen xD

Female Highlanders are fine. Some look even better than some Midlanders out there

I'm highlander and dont "think" he's ugly. They're supposed to be more brawny than all the other races which could almost all pass for women if they tried. XD

Just add heterochromia, highlights that don't match, assorted facepaint, etc I've seen several female miqo'te in-game who've made me want to look away but I suppose that's just the Ul'dah city life ruining young catgirl lives and dragging them into addiction and abuse.
