Just want the dress...do I need to have the ceremony first? Same for choco. ^^

Hi all,
I searched this forum and reddit but couldn't find a solid answer. I bought the platinum bracelet so that I can get and dye both versions of the dress. However, do we only get the dress after the ceremony is complete? Or do we get the dress and such before we actually have the ceremony? I'm hoping I can get the dresses before actually getting married in game since that may take some planning. Also, if anyone knows when we get the chocobo, that would be great too! Thanks.

I think you get it before the ceremony, since i saw a lot of players today wearing them and it seems you can't reserve until this friday

Oooh - that would make sense (and I actually see my question is kinda foolish since we wouldn't have the dress to wear during the ceremony if we received it after). Maybe it is the chocobo and such that only comes after the wedding.

You also can't schedule any weddings until Friday.

You can get the clothes right now by starting the quest. Anything else comes during or after the actual ceremony which you have to schedule. Scheduling won't open until early Friday.

You'll need your partner with the matching level bracelets (gold+gold / plat+plat) to get any extras you might of paid for. Mixing and matching will downgrade your bracelet to the lowest tier of the two. Free+free obviously works but there are no bonuses.

(For example, if you buy plat and your partner is free and you commence the quest, the plat level is downgraded to a free. Basically, the plat bracelet holder wasted their money.)

The hairstyles also unlock when you receive the outfit(s).
