    Please Bring back unique battle stances like in FFXI

    The title says it all, I'd love for each race AND gender to get specific idle battle stances like in FFXI. They don't need to be the same stances as FFXI just as long as they are different for each race and gender. The current default stances just look odd or unnatural with certain races. This is already done in the game for a few job races but on a very small scale (roe DRG's spear points up while hyur DRG's spear points down). Would love to see more unique stances per race AND gender.

    Whether is extends from PS3 limitations or not, the devs already said it ain't happening. Book is closed on the issue.

    PS3 limitations do not apply here, like I said in the original post it already exists on a small scale in the game with DRGs (roe DRG's spear points up while hyur DRG's spear points down while in idle battle stance).

    I'm fine with how it is, actually, because I always felt like Elvaans got the shaft with some of the battle poses in XI. They held polearms and scythes like they were holding a shovel.

    I'll try to find the interview, but basically Yoshi P. was asked why the different races in ARR don't have unique stances and animation like they did in FFXI. His answer was basically that the resources needed to make all the different animations unique would be counterproductive to them developing ARR in their "new" vision. During the closed and open beta the lack of difference was actually a major thing people bitched about and if I remember correctly it was placed in the forums at that time as an addressed issue.

    I can understand if this was said in beta since over the past year and before the launch they've added a ton of QoL (quality of life) changes that needed to be implemented. But now we're at the end of a lot of those needed updates (obiviously some still needed). Something like this could now be put into action and like I said before it is already in the game to a certain degree. The pics below show what I'm talking about.
