You can always just straight up buy a clear.I'm still trying to wrap my head around how people consider buying gear off the marketboard will suddenly make half the playerbase beat turn 13. Because I'm pretty sure gil can't make a player less stupid (but if you're spending $40+ to make quick gil boy do you ever look dumb!)
If the big stink is buying clear runs, pretty much everybody that does that inevitably gets booted from future farm runs they join for being garbage.
No need for gear.

Penta-melded 110 gear gives you a strong leg-up when starting final coil. It's easily on par, and in many cases better than poetics gear. There are even a few pieces that could be considered BiS (Bard coat for example). When crafted 110 accessories are released they will certainly be BiS for tanks. You can dismiss paying for clears all day long, the fact remains that is the very definition of paying to win.I'm still trying to wrap my head around how people consider buying gear off the marketboard will suddenly make half the playerbase beat turn 13. Just think... less than 2 months ago the arguments about the cash shop were over minions and a mount. In less than 2 months we have an in-game event/feature providing premiums to cash players, and a potential way to use the cash shop to make money. Less than 2 months. Arguing over minions seems so simple compared to now. Where do you think we'll be in 6 months? A year?
If you can't handle mechanics, you can't clear content. There is no argument. Look at how many players in the community are in i113 gear now and still can't clear t5 without being carried.Penta-melded 110 gear gives you a strong leg-up when starting final coil. Penta-meld or not, gear isn't equivalent to skill. Nor does it mean you'll suddenly be clearing t13 in a single day.
They aren't winning anything. The concern is unnecessary.
I'm 100% for all cash shop items being tradable and sell-able between players. This way I can just buy them with gil from idiots that spent real money on them.
By your loose standards, SE might as well sell ilvl130-135 raid gear for cash. The gear won't help them clear anything anyway. If you can't handle mechanics, you can't clear content. You can't buy gear from this, gear doesn't teach skill, drama is worthless, move on.
The amount of entitlement coming from these forums is staggering. I really miss the old community. Though it had it's share of idiots, it certainly didn't approach the level of pissing, moaning and misery coming from this current group.
I can't understand the appeal of finding some little small detail, misinterpreting it and wailing on any public forum available endlessly about it. If you really can't tolerate it... Maybe try another game? Or, if you can't seem to let it go, I don't know, seek counseling?
